Note:
In 1905, she became the personal librarian to J. P. Morgan. After Morgan's death, Greene continued as a private librarian for his son, who in 1924, founded the  Morgan Library. She was the library's first director. Belle da Costa Greene remained the director of the library for twenty-four years, until her retirement in 1948.  Click Here to Know More
